Indie Week Ireland (May, 2012)
Indie Week Ireland is an annual music festival held over four days/nights, with 24+ international acts performing in the heart of Dublin.
Showcases are judged by members of the music industry, and the week culminates at the Indie Week Finals where the 'Best of the Fest' perform for the judges with the top scoring act receiving a paid trip (flights and accomodations for up to five band members) to headline INDIE WEEK CANADA 2012 in October. Acts receive their score cards by email post-festival with feedback from the industry judges.
Indie Week is an 'alternative,' artist-friendly festival that is looking for the next big band to bring to Canada, acts from all genres are accepted.

The SuburbiansIndie Week Ireland 2011 Winners
In May 2011, the UK act, The Suburbians, were selected as the top act of INDIE WEEK IRELAND and headlined the Canadian counterpart in October to sold out crowds.
Since winning Indie week the band has had the following achievements since May 2011:
- Signed an international television synch for an extreme sports show
- Received an International endorsement from Gibson guitars through Indie Week
- Sold out CD release party at Indigo2 in London
- Have had a video playlisted on kerrang tv
- Garnered radio airplay in the uk, us and canada
- A host of online features and blog mentions
- Performed for the Ubisoft VIP launch party at the Gibson guitar lounge during Indie Week Canada
