INDIE WEEK SPONSORS PRIZE PACKAGE
Yes Indie Week prides itself on sending a band to Ireland but aside from that we also have some great sponsors onboard who also want to find 'THE NEXT BIG THING'! Is that you?
This prize is ideal for a band looking to get a boost in every direction.
Iguana Studios (Billy Talent, Three Days Grace, Nelly Furtado, Cancer Bats, Bedouin Soundclash) will record 1 song;
Indie Guitars is going to throw in an artist sponsorship package - artist pricing + marketing;
Rock Parlor Clothing - artist merch deal;
Indie Solo will do an artist feature on their website;
Darko Photo - a rock star himself in the world of rock n roll photography, he shot them all: Alice in Chains, AC/DC, Van Halen....everybody! And now possibly YOUR BAND!;
Eye Motion Media - a top notch video company is going to shoot a video worth up to $5000 of the finished song;
Indie Week - will give the band a confirmed showcase at Indie Week 2011.
So basically you get a song and the means to promote it.
What do you have to do?
The sponsors are throwing a party at the Rivoli on Sat Oct 16 starting at midnight (don't worry, the bar is serving until 4am!).
Come down and meet them - pitch your band to them - impress them - you want them to pick your band to work with.
The sponsors will then pick the top five acts that makes sense to them.
Then a month after Indie Week those bands will be contacted.
We might have the bands play a set to see them live!
An online voting page will be up for one month - the the band with the highest amount of votes will win.
Easy - if you're good enough!
