Indie Week 2008 : Volunteer

INDIE WEEK has been very fortunate to have some great volunteers in the past and we look forward to ahving some great people involved again this year. INDIE WEEK would not be able to operate without the assitstance of such people. Some of the previous volunteers have gone on to work as booking agents, sound personel, club bookers, publicists; at such companies as The Agency Group, The Drake Hotel, Musebox, Musebox, Rancho Relaxo, Live Tour Artists - just to name a few. Volunteering can give a sense of personal pride and achievement in being part of something great. Independant music is vital in the artistic community and it is important to support new talent. Along with helping out indie artists, volunteering will give individuals an opportunity to meet industry professionals as well as future industry professionals. It is a great way to start networking if one is looking to get involved in the music business. For others who are music enthusiasts, it is a great way to meet and support promising new talent.

For INDIE WEEK to run smoothly, we require individuals who are committed and reliable to getting the job done properly. Volunteers must also be willing to conduct themselves in a professional manner as they will be representing INDIE WEEK while working.

VOLUNTEERS will be given access to all events they are not working. Any extra promotional materials are given to the volunteers.
