Dan Melnick, Quinnipiac University class of 2006 spent the last 14 years in live music. Dan founded TurnStyle Music Group in 2008 which booked over 6,000 artists in over 100 venues in 6 major US cities from San Francisco to NYC over a span of 8 years. With offices in SF and NYC Dan has vast experience in live music and watching artists grow from 50 cap rooms to international touring artists. Dan spear-headed sponsored music series with Grolsch and Coors Banquet. He has produced shows with artists like We Are Scientists, Jeff Coffin, Alberta Cross, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Allen Stone and many more. Dan has also worked with Playstation on streaming live shows and was the operations director for Stereocast, a live music capturing app. In 2017 Dan took a job at Sonicbids to expand his career more into the tech side. In 2018 Dan produced the “Sonicbids Presents” series where he has collaborated with Bowery Presents, Founders Ent and Dayglo ventures on events like Gov Ball, X-Ambassadors and Felice Bros. In 2019 he founded “Feedback Collective,” a monthly events series built to educate and guide unsigned musical acts. In 2020 Dan started “Homestyle Music,” a weekly streaming concert that brings the best unsigned artists from around the world into your home live every Friday night. He is always actively looking for ways to help unsigned acts navigate their way through the music industry.
