Bo Welland (Can), Free But Sharp Pain (Japan), Luxe (Can), Piqued Jacks (Italy) will be performing live at the Indie Week 2019 Awards Show – SUN NOV 17 at The Mod Club Theatre along side Triss (South Korea – Indie Week 2018 “Best of the Fest”) & Toronto’s own Nikkis’s Wives!

Each artist will perform during the evening and will be judged by a panel of international music industry representatives and one band will be crowned the “Best of the Fest”!

Bo Welland is an alternative rock and roll band from Toronto comprised of Jack Reddon, Harry Reddon, Jack Bulger, and John Wales. The band is known for high energy live shows and quality songwriting in the spirit of The Beatles, Arctic Monkeys, and Radiohead.

‘Free But Sharp Pain’ also known as FBSP, is a JAPANESE duo band from Tokyo.Formed in 2013 or 2014, but we started active properly from about 2017. The group consists of vocalist YOSHIKA and bassist YAMA. Our music are all the original. Style is, little dark, Horror, ROCK, POPS, BLACKMUSIC, FUNK, and more. In a sense, our genre may be said that is crossover. We make musics only what we inspired.

Luxe – Toronto hip hop artist and producer, Luc “Luxe” Toews, commands a deep respect from fans and industry officials with his diverse flow styles and on-stage magnetism. Combining multiple genre sounds and performing a live show with rapping, playing drums and guitar and more, Luxe really sets himself apart in the scene. His release “25 Percent” gained him spots opening for Lil Wayne, J.Cole and more!

Piqued Jacks, openers for Interpol, MTV’s The Freshmen winners and acts during SXSW in 2013-14-15 are an Alt/Rock Band from Italy. Their new album The Living Past, produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari), can be found on Spotify («Every song is a potential hit» – Classic Rock Magazine). The first single Loner VS Lover has been broadcasted by BBC Radio and Kerrang!Radio.
